We're a bit obsessed with coffee at Eten + Drinken.
Our house roast is Premium Dark Bar (we call it PDB) and is a blend of central American arabica and robusta beans.
Its main characteristic is a strong caramel overtone - it was blended to produce a strong but smooth espresso with plenty of depth and roundness.
There's a cocoa texture and feel in the mouth with a slight dark chocolate taste.
We love PDB as it produces a rich full espresso or macchiato, whilst making a latte or cappuccino sufficiently coffee-ish to be properly interesting!
We'll also be offering guest beans, so watch out for complementary tastes!
